Sawn Rocks is a 40 metre basalt rock cliff face featuring ‘perpendicular-octagonal shaped rocks, resembling a giant series of organ pipes’ & looks as though it was created by some architectural firm rather than nature.

It's worth the drive and short trek to see these marvelous natural formations. They're certainly very different and unique - not something you see very often, so it's an experience if you're into nature.

It was fairly easy walk to get there. It was 20-30mins walking to get there. I love the view of Swan rocks. It was absolutely stunning and beautiful.

Terrific well serviced glacial observation area with BBQ and loos handy! Kids and elderly will manage the walk in too. The adventurous can go further. Lovely for a half day trip or just a quick break ..

Definitely worth the easy, short walk (700metres) to this volcanic remnant. A nice picnic area at the carpark.

We went to sawn rocks with friends who live in narrabri, and it was a lovely day, pretty scenery to the rocks and a level walkway with handrails in places if needed, , wheelchair friendly
