Animal lovers enjoy spending time with our majestic Llama. They are fascinating animals to spend time with. Wonderfully intelligent, but with a shrewd cleverness. We offer two lengths of trek: 1 hour or half-day: HALF-DAY TREK (most popular) - Kaikoura Bay beach walk - FIVE tours in one - free entry to Fyffe House Museum, visit seal colony, free drink and cake, free entry to Kaikoura Farm Park. ONE-HOUR TASTER TREK - to the nearest river with abundant wildlife and preserved native woodland.

I had a lovely half-day trek with my llama Max, while my friend walked with Bluey. It's amazing how the llamas have their own unique personalities, and you definitely get to bond with the llamas as you walk. The scenery is absolutely spectacular and the half-day trek ends near the seal colony so you can continue the hike on your... More

We had a ball on the 1/2 day trek. Kevin the guide was very kind and knowledgeable of not only the area but of the Llamas also. We had a great time, bonding with our llamas as you walk around to the peninsula, taking in the stunning views that Kaikoura has to offer. Was a great way to see the... More

Was very excited to go on this tour but unfortunately I got a call while waiting at the meeting point that my tour was canceled, because the other people from my group rescheduled. He was very sorry. Got offered to take a shorter tour 2 hours later but politely declined because I didnt want to spend more time waiting around,... More

Yep! That happenned! Trekking along the peninsulat walkway was a blast with our Llama. Kevin, our guide took at heart to tell us a lot about this unusual animal but also about the history of the place. It was a guided walk taken to the next level of fun! Loved it!

It was an impromptu decision and so glad we did it. It was a memorable trip the Lamas were incredible! As was our host very knowledgable about the Lamas and the coastline and of course local knowledge, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a trek in a wonderful part of the world. And would like to get up close... More

When we could not go whale watching we booked this instead and were very glad that we did. We had our 8 & 11 year old with us and they especially bonded with the animals, which were all beautifully natured and had there own unique personalities. Definitely something that you should do if in in Kaikoura. The walk itself was... More

Had an absolute blast with Kevin and his llamas on a sunny day in Kaikoura. Kevin was a great guide and manager of these tours. He was very flexible with our last minute changes which was great. The llamas themselves were beautiful, friendly and we are currently missing them I type.

Make sure you do this!! Meeting at the Kaikoura i site, we met our llamas and had a briefing before setting off on a beautiful coastal walk. They are such beautiful creatures and it was great to learn a bit about them and bond with them on our walk, we were all sad to leave our llama by the end!... More

To get the negative out of the way, we booked through the I-Site for an hour trek and there was some miscommunication between Kevin and his wife. So when we rocked up Kevin was out and his wife had no idea we had booked. We were left to wander around by ourselves and it was about 20 minutes before anyone... More
