We did the 1 hr 'taster' with the llamas. So different from the usual activities on offer. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The FarmYard is accompanied by some farm-stay accommodation - Wacky Stays - we stayed in the teepee, which was really spacious, a great bathroom, and private cooking / bbq space ... all right next door to the farm yard. Our 7 and 9 year old...More

You have to ring a bell to be let in, the waiting room is in sad repair. We spent way too much money to go here.... It was $7/person and $2/cup of pellets to feed the animals. I just felt bad for nearly every one...More

Visited with my husband and teenage sons. We enjoyed seeing the animals. Seem to be less animals than when we visited last time. There was a very naughty/greedy goat.

This animal farm experience advertises a hands on experience but doesn't deliver. Animal pens were dirty and animals were either a bit aggressive or not accessible. overpriced.

The animals all look well fed and cared for. Staff were patient and helpful. Wonderful photo opportunities especially with children. And as an added bonus you can book a walk with the llamas!

We stayed at the Cushchine Farmer's Cottage with girls aged 5 and 9. They absolutely loved all the animals. It was quiet and peaceful, friendly and welcoming - and with the wood burner, warm as winter approached! The views are stunning. We had pony rides,...More

We went there recently and like other similar bad reviews were met by a miserable woman who was only interested in taking our money. $45 for 4 adults and one child. I can't believe on the website and in the Kaikoura Information booklet it said...More
