Marina

The marina is a nice place for a wander and admire the boats. There's a few gift shops and several restaurants with a variety of choices for lunch and dinner.

If you're a sporty person you can try the 4 kms Hatea Loop, all around... More

We diverted on our travels and happened upon a craft market at the Basin. Lovely visit and an excellent stroll along the waterfront galleries.

a beautiful place to visit among yachts tied up to the wharf, eat at the fine selection of restaurants and shop for beach items.

The town basin is beautiful. You can sit and look at all the boats on their moorings, enjoy food and drinks in a variety of places. It also has an excellent playground for the children. It is a real asset to the city
