Not to be missed, if you are a royalist, but if not... stay away. Food much the same as any "coffee bar" but you need time to wander and take in all the memorabilia. Don't for get to look at the ceiling and visit the "Throne room".

We almost drove past the cafe as we didn't see it until we were level with the frontage of the building. We were glad we took the effort to turn around and go back. It is like walking into a small cafe or Bric -a-Brac shop anywhere in England, with an emphasis on the Royal Family. There are articles celebrating... More

The food is terrible, the service sporadic, the atmosphere just plain weird. Just keep on driving past this cafe.

Been here many times now both with husband and friends. This place may not have the best coffee (although the food is pretty good) but the cute royalist experience is a bit different compared to your normal cafe. I am not in anyway a royalist but it was really interesting to see all the old English memorabilia and Royal plates... More

The food's fine, the tea is served in a cup and saucer, the toilet has to be seen to be believed (in a good way) and the whole place is filled to the brim with Royal memorabilia! A great place to stop for a break on the way to the Coromandel!
