For the rugby buff!

Well presented, very informative and a helpful gentleman staffing the place. Great visit and really nice new premises. A great Saturday afternoon before a big game.

I would advise anyone who has a passion for the game to go to the Rugby Museum as it has it all. The staff are really helpful and people from around the world find this so full of history.

i drove to Palmy for one reason only. to go to the museum, where the greatest rugby team in the world has its history kept for freaks like me. it has all you need, from the early days to 2015 world cup, encapsulated in photos, memorabilia's and books. I left with an accomplishment yet feeling that there should have been... More

i had looked forward to visiting the NZ rugby museum for some time and was fortunate enough to get the opportunity during a recent trip following the Wales tour. I spent about 3-4 hours in the museum and following the guided tour I had time to view the various items in greater detail. The staff were extremely helpful and their... More

Having spent a week in New Zealand in the winter means lots of Rugby to watch. Went to the museum to try to understand a bit more about the game. The guide was so knowledgeable and told us not only the rules but the history. The museum was so filled with information and even hands on things.

Its a small museum dedicated to the history of rugby in New Zealand especially the All Blacks. Lots of memorabilia from the earliest days to the present. There are also interactive displays to test your acceleration, tackling skill, kicking, and leg strength. Very interesting, but somewhat expensive.

For a rugby enthusiast this would be great. I know my brother visits it every time he comes to Palmy. The exhibits were varied and showed a varied collection of rugby memoribelia. My grandson aged 7 at the time, quickly looked at the exhibits but enjoyed the activities more. I didn't do too badly at them. The attendant was very... More

A must-do when in Palmerston North. This modern, well laid-out and interactive museum is incredibly full of NZ rugby history and a place one can spend many long hours.

I just don't understand why you need to pay for this museum where it is not that big yet it is the same like any other museum. The interactive playground is an attraction but be sure you are fit to use it or else you might spoil your trip with an injury. I find this place very informative and interesting... More
