An excellent place to visit in summer with quick & easy access to the beach (patrolled). The picnic area is well maintained with very clean BBQ’s. In winter, good views of a turbulent sea. Highly recommend a visit.
A well-frequented concrete path used by walkers, cyclists, runners and skaters. Partly screened by vegetation on the beach side. Dog droppings can be an issue, but most dog-owners carry plastic bags or get them from supply-posts along the way.

This is a nice walk, though we preferred the walking on the west side of the breakwater at Warrnambool - we thought the coastline views there were more interesting than along the foreshore walk east of the breakwater.
