A stroll in the park

This is a lovely place to have a stroll. This area was once a goldfield and has been transformed into a beautiful public park.

Our beautiful Rosalind Park has an offensive fruit bat invasion. Our once fabulous tourist attraction has been invaded with bats. You can't sit down anywhere in fear on sharing your seat with bat poo. The smell gets you before you even enter and makes it very unpleasant to walk around. It really is a shame but you could not hold... More

What a beautiful park. And as it was Easter it was filled with markets , food and fantastic entertainment for the entire family. At the back of the park there is permanent playground equipment and was a little quieter. There is a wonderful hothouse to wander through and many sculptures to look at. Good anytime of the year.

Visiting for the first time. This could have been a wondrous experience, but sadly, there is a plague of bats, covering much of the park, and ruins the experience. I can put up with the stench, but there are well documented health issues associated with bats, and is was concerning, with the the bat poo etc exposure. Hopefully it gets... More

It is a great place to take a stroll in the morning. Yes there are bats. The park is great, and is a nice relaxing environment.

Visiting that park is fraught with danger. The Bats have been there for years, and are still pooing everywhere. Take an umbrella with you.

Lovely space in autumn. Gorgeous space to just take a morning wander. The conservatory is a delight.

We were there at Easter and there were lots of things going on. Afterwards it was quiet but a great sized park for wandering around.

This was a delightful walk in the park, the kids were entertained with reading plaques scattered around, playing at the playground and being entertained by the sounds of the fruit bats in the trees
