Yes, the trees & flowers are beautiful but visiting the the Japanese Macaque monkey enclosure is a sad & depressing experience. Their enclosure is stark & bare and all the monkeys seem bored and some look very unwell. Will not go back to City Park...More

Had a great couple of hours just gazing at the monkeys antics...the park is fabulous with spring flowers and walking paths..definitely worth another visit Great for a family outing or solo

The monkeys are so cute. Don't know anywhere else where you get to see monkeys that isn't in a zoo! The kiddies train is still going after 50 years. I rode it when I was little, my daughter rode it and now I've ridden it...More

City park is a nice area in the city and good to wander around away from the traffic. We saw some beautiful orchids in flower.

This is a well maintained park, lots of greenery, beautiful old rotundas ,trees a pond for the ducks and a park for the kids. Train rides can be had. Monkees interesting?? Great place for a picnic, concerts and Launceston Festival.
