This was a very interesting and informative 1 1/2 hour tour, and our guide Phil was exceptional, and witty. They were brewing whilst we visited, the aroma was welcoming, its pot luck what is happening at the brewery on the day. You can visit the...More

Wonderful tour - Bill was great - lots of laughs and the beer is just excellent! Learn about the old times brewery crowds and yes "Boag was genius" - he started using clean water! Brilliant idea - hope he keeps it up! Lots of fun!

This was an impromptu visit whilst others were out shopping. My son and i took in the museum and found it had just enough for us rather than do the tour. We then got a tasting paddle which was generous along with 2 x chicken...More

This was an easy walk from our apartments in the afternoon. We tried the beer paddle with the Premium, XXX Ale and the Wizard Smith's Ale. For $10, it was a generous pour and thoroughly matched with the cheese platter, more than enough for four,...More

We were only told after our purchase of our tickets that the factory was in a 3 week shutdown and were upstairs at the museum ready to go. Simply not good enough. Be open and honest, do not charge for a brewery experience when it...More

Even though production wasn't in operation while we were there due to capital improvements, the tour was still great. Our guide was Nat and she was both knowledgeable and easygoing. The tour doesn't show that much behind the scenes stuff but it's interesting nonetheless and...More

The tour was interesting but as it is all automated there isn't much to see. Our guide was great (Priscilla) but I didn't think it was worth $33 each.

I recently took my Dad and Mum to Tasmania for the day for my Dad's 70th Birthday. Instead of buying him a slab of James Boags Beer (his fave) I thought why not take him to see where it is made. We had a quick...More

Great tour and beer. Staff were friendly and enjoyed a conversation with you. The tour is definitely worth it but I would recommend going on a weekend day so the brewery is running at full force. Phil thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge.
