We have been on a few brewery tours in the past and this one is the stand out. It's a small brewery and all of the areas are easily accessible, within a working factory. We were there on the weekend which although not working, meant easy and quiet access and the time to walk around. If you are after a... More

This is a must stop for any willing beer lover. They walk you through the complex and describe the brewing process. The one and a half tour concludes with a beer sampling alongside some local cheeses. They tasted amazing. All in all a must stop.

We recently toured the brewery which was very interesting as it included the history, along with a clear commentary of the brewing process. Although it was a National holiday and so the plant wasn't working, there was an informative video that showed the bottling and packaging process happening. The guides were able to answer many questions from our group. The... More

Good tour of a working brewery and it's history. My favourite part was tasting the beers and cheese at the end. Three generous tastings of the different beers, two of which can only be bought in Tasmania. Nice afternoon activity for any beer drinker.

Andrew, our tour guide was very informative. Provided an excellent understanding of the history of the brewery process by Boag's. Beer and cheese tasting provided some handy hints for serving, especially with friends.

I am not a big beer fan so I cannot rate the beer. The tour they gave was good and informative. I like history so knowing how the business were made is very interesting. We walk through the brewery with a guide and he explains not only the history of the brewery but also the process of beer making and... More

Did the tour whilst in Launceston and must admit, I thought it would be a good way to fill in an hour or so, but it was absolutely fantastic and a must to do when visiting Launceston. The tour is informative and quite fascinating - oh and you do sample a little product. But the overall experience is one I... More

We took our 3 teenage children with us on our brewery tour. Our tour guide, Nat, was very knowledgable on the Boags history as well as some other interesting "fun facts"! We had a great tour, only a small group, and enjoyed some beer tasting afterwards with tassie cheese. Very enjoyable. Would have been 5 stars but the packaging production... More

The brewery tour is reasonably informative, but nothing most of it is looking at different sized tanks. When we got to the packaging section it was broken down so you end up looking at lots of bits of equipment joined by conveyors. If you are fanatically interested in beer, then it is worth visiting! At the end, there is a... More
