What a great old fasioned store. Lovely and friendly staff. A great range of tasmanian products. I am glad that I came back to do some shopping here.

I just love that the old shop has been retained and is under the due care of the National Trust. The ladies behind the counter were perfect for this job. They are knowledgeable, sociable and engaging, ready to tell and re-tell the history to all...More

TheOld Umbrella Shop is definately worth a visit.Launceston has some interesting, old and charming shops. Another one worth seeing is Stewarts Jewelery shop in Charles Street, with the original etched and painted plate glass windows and the history written at the front. I find Launceston...More

Two lovely ladies made a visit to this old shoppe very enjoyable. It was like stepping back in time.......really nice. The prices were a little high, but it was a lovely place.

What a wonderful step back in time the woodwork the velvet lining is amazing. We were great by two lovely ladies I was a delight to visit and the old umbrellas were beautiful Highly Recommend people to visit

Some beautiful old umbrellas, carefully showcased. Buyers of gifts for ladies are sure to find something of interest, but fellas if you are looking for a decent umbrella, you'll find a more practical range at your local golf shop.

I went here looking for umbrellas! at least the history and maybe to buy something funky or locally produced - out of luck. they had the typical Tasmanian souvenirs but i was after something quirky which their name suggested i would get
