Friendly staff and the surroundings are beautiful. Wines I loved were the Pinot Gris (which is normally not my style) and the sparkling. Definitely will be back with friends. PS. We saw a wedding starting while we were there and it would be lovely for...More

Friendly service, amazing setting, delicious wine and mouth-watering food. What else could you ask for? Tip: Josef Chromy is located between the airport and Launceston so if your flight gets in earlier than check in for your hotel, detour via Josef Chromy for lunch and...More

Our family arrived at the cellar door and were well greeted by Kaye and Domenic. They were very enthusiastic and proud to work for such a legendary company and family. We also were pleased to briefly meet Mr Josef Chromy which was a special moment...More

We should have skipped this winery. Cellar door not sign posted at all so we inadvertently went the wrong way and were berated by staff. Tastings are stingy and only 5 wines to sample so not really worth the $20 we paid for the privilege...More

Thank you for your feedback. There is only a single entrance to our building, unless guests follow the verandah around to the rear where our garden bar is located. As such, we have not previously identified a need to increase our signage. This will be...More

We pulled in with 8 minutes to spare for an impromptu lunch and they were very accommodating. Food was awsome and service friendly. Then there were the amazing views! Only disappointment was that they had run out of some of the sparkling wines for tasting,...More

We visited for a wine tasting and also booked lunch for the restaurant. Set in a beautiful, picturesque area, covered in vineyards and with some great quality wines. The staff member was friendly too. There is a $5pp fee to taste, waived upon purchase, which...More

We visited to experience the wines and see the place we'd read about. The wines are great, but the Brut NV was our favourite. Certainly a beautiful place to sit and stare out at the lovely gardens with a glass of wine.
