A really beautiful spot and completely unexpected. Set in a lovely park, it is enveloped in vines leading down to a wonderfully landscaped terrace garden. Numerous vantage points. Credit must go to the creators of the garden and paths to allow such an experience.

Its a great place to visit especially with the family so many possums come out a night time and actually come up to you and feed from the hand we love it.

It is a beautiful place to visit, especially with the garden it contains. I would suggest that perhaps Spring or early summer would be it's best time for the garden but it is still enjoyable in winter.

Steeped in history, this is a place that is worth a visit. It has been well restored and exceeded our expectations. Quite an amazing place.

A great way to spend an hour, more if you pack a picnic. Very pretty and interesting and at night time the possums come out. We often stop here when travelling through Mt Gambier.

Very interesting and part of the history of the town. Lovely gardens with a very romantic feel. It must look amazing at night.

This is really quite unique - a huge hole in the ground but with really nice gardens. Definitely the best thing to see in town.

No, what i think you are talking about is a display on the outside of the building overlooking what the locals call The Cave Gardens. It shows nightly, but is not really a sound and light show, more of a movie clip.

Oh and the Beachport Jetty and Paintball skirmish. Awesome fun and adrenaline rush. Lastly there is the fairy penguin lookout and soft cliff faces with hidden caves underground. You'll wish you had more than just a few days... More

I am not sure about that. Perhaps the Mount GambierTourist Information Centre (Lady Nelson Tourist Centre) could help with that.
