Used to visit when we visited Toowoombs, now that we live here we have taken lots of visitors and also attended local events here. Pretty, well maintained and great for children.

There is a spot for anyone and everyone at Laurel Bank Park, lovely grassed areas for people to sit. Covered tables and chairs and the gardens wow! Formal beds of roses, tulips and pretty bright plants everywhere. Fantastic shade trees are here to sit or slumber under! The scented garden is also a must, perfume abounds here as it is... More

This lovely park is one of the main showcases for Toowoomba's Carnival of Flowers in September and is a must see. it also has some interesting topiary.

We unfortunately arrived about 6 weeks after the Festival of Flowers. This meant the garden beds were mostly empty as everything had been pulled out and not replaced with anything. The topiaries however were amazing and fun to look at.

This is not a large park but it is a lovely spot for a picnic, with a play ground for children to let off steam. Though far smaller than Queens Park this is the park we and our grand children prefer.

The first park we went to was Laurel Bank Park. The gardens were spectacular. Gorgeous Poppies wisteria flowering in wonderful arbours & tulips & annuals to assault the senses. The gardens are well worth a visit & if you love to photograph flowers...spectacular.

Laurel Bank Park is best around Carnival of Flowers time (September). It is a park with a number of separate areas where you can relax and enjoy the tranquillity. There is an area for children and an area with waterlillies plus an area particularly designed for the blind where they can use the sense of smell to enjoy the garden.
