My boyfriend and I were very interested in getting into spear fishing and Sporty's Warehouse was the perfect starting point. Because I knew absolutely nothing and had agreed to give it a go :) Not only did the lovely ladies in watersports provide us with all we needed to know, there was an incredible range of equipment options to get... In the late 80s/90s when I was younger this place was THE place to go for all manner of sporting goods. Especially for tennis!!! Now the tennis section absolutely blows. The two guys who have been there since I was a teenager just don't seem to care about their products or how limited a range they carry. It seems the... More

All the staff in the different sections are all very helpful. They have a large and great range of products at reasonable prices and people that know a lot of information in their selected area.

This is an example of an store that has good products but staffed by clowns who know nothing about the tennis industry or have any tennis skills or knowledge. They have no demo racquets, apparently the "perfect racquet" will be chosen for you by a staff member. I took a racquet in to be strung to be picked up 48... More

The clothing section is by far the most ridiculous part of the store. There is no doubt the gym-wear and clothing are great quality and Sporty's has a wide variety. However the pricing is absurd, just to by a singlet and shorts will probably cost you $200. No wonder I was the only person standing in the clothing section :\

We were actually on holidays to the Gold Coast in January and our friends told us to go into your store for some supplements and vitamins as you were the cheapest. We couldn't believe how big the store was and all the sports stuff you had - especially the scuba dive and running shoe sections! After you informed us we... More

I was looking for camping and outdoors gear like backpacking type stuff. Didn't have any here. It's mostly gym and sporting goods. They had a hunting type section upstairs but i wasn't looking to look like the people from Duck Dynasty. They also had a large golf section upstairs. We ended up driving to Anaconda and Mountain Designs in Brisbane... More
