Super cool to watch these magnificent turtles make their pitch, lay their eggs, cover them up by sweeping the sand back with their front legs & compacting it with their bodies. This is done at night time so the stars were amazing as well &...More

I went to see the turtles at Mon Repos with my 24 year old son. We used the Turtle Express which was very good and beat the queues (you are promised, but not guaranteed an earlier group) but at a considerable price premium. The Mon...More

Am covered in mozzie bites the day after and I had repellent on Not sure about this place, the idea is great but lots of badly behaved kids and adults not taking instruction. Should this be a public viewing, although they have helped save the...More

We came by bicycle from Bundaberg Marina. So the route by itself was a fantastic experience. And the visit of the station and even more the visit of the turtle was just outstanding. We have nothing like this in Switzerland.

This is a very well presented display with the history of turtles, their habitats and the dangers they face from human beings. The walkways are very wide and easy walking without steep inclines. I found it to be a great learning experience. Food for thought.

Even though the turtles were not expected for another week walking on the beach where they would come ashore was a worthwhile experience. The information centre was extremely well presented.

Our initial disappointment at finding the facility empty was soon extinguished when the lights automatically turned on revealing an interesting variety of static displays. The adjoining boardwalk was an pleasant stroll as well. While I wouldn't go too far out of my way to get...More

We had booked about a month in advance for hatching season and were very well rewarded. The night time viewing does have limited numbers.

They start on 7 and if you are not there in time if you are the first group you may be missed, when I was there people were arriving later on etc, but I would try and be there as close to 7 as possible.

Sorry you have to book via their offices in Bundaberg. It says you can book online but we couldn't get it to work. Great event though you'll love it good luck with turtle arrival times.
