This Bert Hinkler Hall of Aviation is for all ages. The display brings to life early Bundaberg Aviation with interactive models and technology. The kids young and old will enjoy the experience as I have on at least three occasions. Once inside, you won't want to leave.

We skipped the Distillery and instead spent two days here with the combined ticket. Loved the history and the great way it was presented on many levels. Those who just want to skim can have a quick look while if you want to go deeper the information is there. The restored Mon Repos house is lovely and you get a... More

Really enjoyed this air conditioned museum. To be honest, I'm not one to walk around a large room reading script from boards around the walls. Although this attraction does have those it also has many interactive displays and short video presentations that cover Bert Hinkler's very interesting life and houses at least 6 of his full size planes. We did... More

It was fun flying the simulators and know more abt Hinkler and his aviation history. The gliders were just great to simulate the art of flying. The museum is well presented and very thorough. Kids and adults alike can have lot of fun.

We stumbled upon this little museum and ended up spending 2 hours. It has a good number of static displays as well as replicas of Bert's glider and planes, touch screen items, short movies and interactive items. We had a ball and learnt all about this giant of the early days of aviation. Kids from about 10 will really enjoy... More

If you are in Bundaberg you should definitely put the Hinkler Hall of Aviation on your itinerary, This deserving Queenslander whose busts, statues and photos can be seen throughtout the Burnett District, for his achievements and engineering feats. The large Hall has a very comprehensive collection of memorabilia and artefacts recording the life and achievements of Bert Hinkler. Bring plenty... More
