Hope Estate draws a bigger crowd than any other destination in the Hunter Valley. We've had the honour of hosting some of the biggest names in the world: Elton John, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and Bruce Springsteen are just a few of the acts that have graced the Hope Estate stage. The Estate has been a 'must visit' destination since "the godfather of the Australian wine industry" Len Evans constructed it in the late 60's. Owner Michael Hope has built upon Evans legacy, adding an amphitheatre holding up to 20,000 guests and greatly expanding the hospitality services available. We are proud to offer an authentic range of Estate Grown Hunter Valley wines from our vineyards across Pokolbin and Broke. There is also a wide variety of wines available from our vineyards Western Australia and Victoria. The Estate is also the home of Hope Brewhouse, the winner of the 2016 CBA "Champion Small Brewery" Award. At any given time, there are at least 12 different brews on tap. Try a tasting paddle and enjoy it amongst the open-air brewery, taking in the sights and smells of fresh beer being brewed. Located in the heart of Pokolbin, Hope Estate has grown to become the Hunter's premier destination.

Great concert. However catering and bar and prices for both were disgusting. Queued for 20mins at a tent with a banner across the top advertising steak sandwiches only to find out there never was steak sandwiches - beef rissole sandwiches only - $8 each. Queues...More

Suzi Quatro concert. Only around 7000 people there. As a result, only a handful of food vendors, all over priced, and a Couple of bars. Wine $7 a glass, mostly the Hope brand. Beer unspecified brand. We assume Hope, was a midstrength variety for $7/8...More

Management were rude about our group booking. "Can only serve 20 at a time". Really, you cater for large crowds. They tried to rectify the catering but most of the staff couldn't care less. One waitress dropped something on the floor and I'm sure she...More

It is actually an open air concert venue, so with the grounds available, and dependent on how they configure the venue, you would expect at least 5000.

It's an outdoor venue, and often there is some allocated seating up the front for certain ticket holders, while the rest of the visitors will set themselves up on the surrounding lawn. It's a very relaxed atmosphere.
