Lots of road works going on in the area at the moment, so be prepared and park a distance away. Having said that, the whole area is quite flat, so it is easy to walk both to the park and through it. The paths are...More

Delightful park to take a break or just meander around, close to the city centre but far enough away to have some peace and quiet.

A great place for children to run around or ride scooters. The dog even liked to be able to go for a long walk and some running. Have been here a few times with the family.

Combine a visit to the park with a stroll along the foreshore itself and a walk out along Nobby's and the breakwall - and why not a swim while you're here? Easy to access by car or public transport and perfectly located close to eateries...More

The 3 older boys loved the train equipment and enjoyed playing train driver (ages 3, 5 and 8) Not so great for my 1 year old who wanted to join in, however the equipment is mostly only safe for older kids.
