We are Baby Boomers and rode bikes around this excellent venue. The enclosures are well maintained and appear to be a suitable size for the variety of animals on display. One of the elephant keepers was particularly informative and was obviously very passionate about his job (...not to mention super handsome!). Went on the Safari Ride (for an additional $10... More

We had a fab day as a family ( 7 & 10yr old). Can easily visit over 2 days especially to fit in all the talks and spend time going back to see animals again. Lots of picnic stops but also reasonably priced food and bikes if you don't have you own. Stacks of different types of bikes option- gears,... More

Great place to visit, wander at your own pace, see lots of exotic animals in the wild, and during demonstrations and feeding, tickets get you in for two days to come and go as you please if kids are unhappy or its too hot or cold. I loved it. So did the kids.

Awesome experience for all ages, will return in a few years when kids are older and use bikes to get around (the best way I think).

We had such a great time and was really lucky with the weather. The overnight stay is highly recommended with the night tours. Our stay included a dinner experience followed by a special night time tour. The next day we rode bicycles on the 5+ km circuit around the Zoo. There was few bars seen between you and the animals.... The zoo was far better than I expected! The husband and kids rode their own bikes around the zoo while I drove (I had the food and drinks). 5 km of tarred road plus little dirt tracks to wonder around, this isn't an activity for an hour or so.. we took 1 1/2 days!! This is far different to Taronga... More

Took our 6 year old to see the baby lion cubs and elephant. We drive around the Zoo, wanted to hire a golf cart but there were none left on arrival- glad we didn't spend the money for it in the end. Found the first half of the Zoo wonderful, after the lion enclosure it just got a bit boring.

We enjoyed a great couple of days at the zoo in mid March. The zoo is well laid out and the animals all seem happy and well cared for. Highlights for us were the meerkats, the baby elephant and the tiger. We took advantage of being able to go on two consecutive days. The first day was a Sunday and... More

First day we decided to walk and this was a very pleasant and easy way to get around the majority of the zoo. We're able to see meerkats, rhinos, zebras, elephants, Sumatra tiger and many other animals in a great environment.
