This is the pick of the tourist attractions - well worth the $10. You are able to take photos - something you can't do at a lot of places.

This is really worth visiting. The video gave us an excellent introduction to the work of the Flying Doctors Service and the exhibits were also great. Terrific gift shop made it very easy to support this wonderful service.

Lovely tour and video. Museum with the original seat the Queen sat and spoke over the wires to the outback folk in 1954 was quite impressive. We all need to support this much needed health service to such isolated communities.

Very interesting visit. Good to have a tour of where the calls are taken and a look at the hanger. Worth the $$$.

As your time is limited I would also recommend taxi, maybe a few of your fellow travellers could share one. Well worth a visit as not all R.F.D.S bases have hanger workshops.
