Piece of garden glory

Immaculate and serene oasis in Albury. Read a book, relax and ponder the aesthetics of a classic nineteenth century designed garden.

I was pleasantly surprised by the botanical gardens. Some of the trees must be about 100 years old. It would be a great place for a picnic or just a long walk. There is an activity area for children as well which is a great idea.

Beautiful manicured gardens with poignant historical features scattered around the gardens. The highlight, even for us oldies, is the children's garden.......absolutely delightful!

Went for a stroll around these lovely gardens. Lush & green with lovely trees, the roses were blooming. I just loved the children's garden, there were many little ones enjoying the surroundings.

Albury was unseasonably hot when we passed through - 31 degrees in early November - and the gardens were a lovely respite from the heat. Beautifully maintained, and showcasing some amazing trees, they are well worth a visit. The rose garden was in full bloom when we were there, and the perfume wafting across to the seat nearby was heavenly.

These gardens are the most beautiful part of Albury. So well kept and peaceful. Great enclosed children's playground there too.

The Botanical Gardens are just off the main street going towards monument hill and it is 10 minute walk from CBD. Shady, green and well kept it is worth a relaxing stroll.

If you are passing through Albury please take the time to break your journey and relax in these beautiful well cared for gardens. We quite often bring a picnic here to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take a walk afterwards.
