We biked from Manapouri to Te Anau and thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The views along the way were stunning and the ride was not too hard. Do take sufficient time for this though as it took us about 3 hours.

This trail has lots of nice scenery and takes you to an excellent aviary along the way. It's a pleasant hike next to the lake.

Well maintained road for walking, cycling, jogging and for dogs. Easy access from the town centers. It takes about 2 hours to walk from Te Anau to Manapouri.

Track surface is great and a good variety of track by the river and in the bush, with views that are typical of the region. Spectacular of the Waiau River which is stunning.
