Peregrine Wines are the producers of the Peregrine, Saddleback and Mohua...

Peregrine Wines are the producers of the Peregrine, Saddleback and Mohua range of wines, located an easy 25 minutes drive from Queenstown in the heart Gibbston. Surrounded by a rugged and majestic landscape, our stunning Winery building has won international awards and accolades for its design and construction, which evokes the wingspan of a Peregrine (native falcon or Karearea) as it glides on thermal air rising from the heated land.Peregrine is a boutique, artisan producer of a premium range of wines that focus on Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Chardonnay. It is a brand that since the first vintage has gain reputation both domestically and internationally as one of New Zealand’s iconic wine brands.Come and visit us at the Cellar Door every day from 10am-5pm. We trust that you will leave with fond memories of both our winery and our fabulous wines.

Was doing some wine tasting around the Gibston Valley and stopped by Peregrine. The wine was nice and a few I will place in my Christmas list. But what striked me he most was how knowledgable and nice the guy who served us was, James. Thanks for introducing me to a rather lovely Chardonnay!

WE LOVED ALL OF THEIR WINES! Rose, Pinot noir, and Gewurztraminer were fantastic. Free wine tasting. Knowledgeable staff. Comparable prices to local area. Would not miss this one! Stunning landscape and facility, a real work of art.

Sad to say I didn't really like the wine much but that's because I don't drink too much but I just wanted the experience and the fun. Which was fantastic. The best thing was they didn't charge me. I just loved the sampling it is a great way to see the vineyards. Pleased I did it.

Winery Cellar Door is a lovely spot,a quite spectacular building, fairly new site but very professionally run. New cellar barrels right alongside cellar bar, apparently newer wines mature here and new barrels are replaced every three years, lots of information on site and wines. Loved their Pinot Grigio, bought supplies for further sampling. We didn't do a wine trip, just drove... More

Stopped in to buy a bottle of wine in the Arrowtown Wine Store and James Escobar from Peregrine was doing tastings, what a lovely and knowledgeable young man. He was very helpful and his knowledge of wines was extensive. I would definitely recommend him to talk to if you are visiting Peregrine winery.

Stopped in and had a fantastic tasting. The wines were excellent. The Pinot was a standout and compares very well with the other vineyards we visited. Very helpful staff. Recommended

Every time we visit Otago we have to go to Peregrine to see what wines they have. They are always very knowledgeable on the wines and tastings are free. The crackers are a good touch so you can refresh your palate. We never come away with less than two bottles. Looking forward to the 2010 soon.
