This is a tough but short walk. From the carpark, it is a short steep start, steep in the middle and near the end. But each steep length is short. Get through the pine forests and onto the open ridge for a stunning view over Queenstown, Frankton and the Lake. Make sure you take the last lap to the top... More

Great walk and views (when you get there) but be aware that parts of the track are quite steep, and you need to allow enough time: at least 1.5 hours and probably 2.5 hours if wanting to walk all the way to the summit. There is an initial track to a loop track through the bush to the first viewing... More

Fantastic views across Queenstown well worth the hike! Very steep getting to the start and during the walk.

Loved this hike. Great photo ops with lake, clouds, and mountains as backdrop at the top. Also a good workout!

Steep but not too difficult a walk if you take your time. Views are excellent and well worth the effort without having to go too far out of town.

Did the Queenstown Hill trail. It took about 2 hours and the views were well worth it. Even though we had done the Gondola ride we loved the walk

This is a moderately steep hill with no real obstacles. Kiwis would call it easy, but it can take your breath away both with views and effort.

Queenstown Hill (the Time Walk) was our first hike when we landed in Queenstown for our eleven-day stay. It is accessible from the town centre, but it is a bit of a walk though - better to drive up to the starting point since there is parking. The views are spectacular - no doubt about that. And definitely worth the... More

This is my favourite Queenstown short walk. It's a good, well used gravel track, with a steep but even gradient. (Good for training for longer hikes). At the top rewarded with fantastic views over the Queenstown area.

The view is good enough but it is totally over commercialised. But if you don't mind that? It's nice.
