Not only does Hagley Park have the Avon River flowing through it, it can also boast Victoria Lake. A peaceful place to walk around with plenty of areas to rest and enjoy the water views and to watch the world and people go by.

A friendly lot of sailors on the lake meet regularly with races Saturday and Wednesday. They will share their knowledge and encourage you to have a go even to the extent of handing over the remote control.
