This was my teen son's choice of activity because he was so intent on seeing a Kiwi Bird (they're nocturnal,so it would've been almost impossible in the wild). We had a guided tour of the bird sanctuary at the park where our guide provided great...More

Every time I visit Willowbank, I stay longer than planned because it's just so hard to leave! The animals are active and interesting. It's all so easy and relaxing.

A favourite place for our family. Plenty of wildlife to see and feed. Loads of scope to burn off childrens’ energy. Cafe service can be slow at busy times.

Willowbank is a Wildlife Reserve so is outdoors but is relatively sheltered. Kiwi viewing is still guaranteed as the are in a Nocturnal House.
