My husband & I booked a day tour and the Christchurch Gondola was included. "It" read it was a 4-person gondola, but each couple did it by twos, which was nice. They take a photo when you first get inside & sell them once you...More

The Gondola gives you an excellent 369 degrees view of Christchurch from the summit. It is complimented by a shirt but informed presentation on the Canterbury district

This is a great way to take a trip to the top of the mountain and get spectacular views of the city. Don’t forget to go below and see the trip through time. An absolute must do while in town. Easy to get to.

We didn't choose the best of days to take this ride but it was still lovely at the top. The coffee and cakes were a treat too.
