Offering tours of Christchurch and Canterbury, Hassle-free Tours is one of the region's best ways to see the New Zealand tourist attractions that draw visitors from around the world. Between discovering Christchurch in a restored double-decker bus to speeding through the Waimak Gorge in a jet boat, there are options to suit everyone’s interests.A favourite among visitors to New Zealand is the unique Lord of the Rings Tour, which ventures into the Canterbury high country for an exciting 4WD ride to the filming location of Edoras, the capital city for the Rohan people in the film trilogy.

We had Steve from Hasselfree tours take the two of us to Arthur's Pass. It was a 7 hour ride in a Prado, constant chatter, about issues of history and culture, flora, fauna and birds, faith and photography. A fantastic lunch at Rubicon Valley Tourist Centre. We didn't do the jet ski portion but it looked like fun. It was... More

We took the Edoras all day tour from Christchurch. We were picked up at our lodging about 7:30 am by our tour guides Jackson and Hammond in a 10 passenger Toyota Land Cruiser. We then picked up the rest of the tour group at their respective hotels and were on our way to the Canterbury high country. After about 45... More

We had Phillip as our guide he was on time to pick us up! Gave us a history of New Zealand a bit of Fauna and Flora. The filming site for Edoras was amazingly beautiful. Lots of wine also provided at lunch! This is a must for Lord of the Rings fans or anyone who wants to go see the... More

Just had the most fabulous day with our guide Hiker... on to a sheep farm, most amazing views. Followed by an exhilarating jet boat ride and amazing lunch, topped off with the Trans Alpine train ride from Authurs pass back to Christchurch... we loved every minute of it... highly recommended for a full fun packed day with everything including

Did the tour with Steve that including jetboating, 4x4 and Tranzalpine rail. Steve was very friendly, and knowledgeable and passionate about the area. Amazing scenery despite the weather. I would definitely recommend doing a tour with Hassle-Free, and this is a must-do tour for anyone visiting Christchurch

We took the 3 hour Christchurch NZ tour that started out great with a 1 hour tour with excellent explanations of the 2011 earthquake renovations and historical perspective. The bus driver/tour guide was enthusiastic and professional. The problem came with the switch over to the vintage double decker bus. Although I can appreciate the idea of using the vintage bus,... Scenery: spectacular Guide: Rob, lovely and a credit to tour guides Tour organiser: Hassle Free, uninspiring 1. This tour is sadly one that is not advertised properly. We were told we would be out 9am - 5:30pm. In fact we didn't return until 7pm. If you don't mind losing a day and evening go for it, but if sitting in... More

Booked a tour from Port Chalmers up in to the high country to see some of the panoramic scenery from ''LOTR'' films. Was not disappointed. What made this tour so great was the guide on our coach (Steve Williams) and the driver Bruce who had that kind of conversational repartee that made this one of the great tours. The trip... More
