We've been going to Staglands for decades. This trip was our favourite yet as this time we went mid week and the animals were amazingly interactive as they weren't too full up with food which can sometimes be the case. I especially love the goats and deer that you can hand feed and the chooks. Staglands is set in a... More

The worst part of the visit was getting there .... steep windy road is not my cup of tea .... Still once there it's most enjoyable with good variety of birds and animals which both kids and adults will find interesting. The whole thing is still a bit amateurish for something that's been around for years ... but worth a... More

Loved visiting Staglands and seeing the animals where you can walk among many of them. Particularly enjoyed the goats. There is a restaurant on site.

It maybe some distance from the metropolis but it is worth the drive as you do get up and personal with so many different animals. This place is indeed unique and your courage to interact with all the different animals and birds increases as you make your way through their various enclosures. Make sure you buy a bad of food... Went with my 4yr old with his kindy class. Nice day out, kids got to feed most of the animals. heaps of cool spots to sit & eat lunch. Take water & good walking shoes, its a bit of a walk, we were there from 10-12.

This is one of the best animal encounter experiences I've ever had. The animals are healthy and happy and you walk amongst them instead of looking through a fence. Gorgeous. Go! You'll never regret it.

All accessible (either over the fence or right in with them in a lot of cases) and happy for a feed or... More
