Never a bad coffee

Always a good experience. The coffee is delicious and the service is great. If you sit upstairs, don't worry they will bring the coffee to you!

Great place in Wellington to go for a fantastic coffee and decadent treat! The service is excellent, and it's one of my favs 😊 Central location as well.

A smallish chocolate cafe, not far from the iSite info centre. A nice selection of specialty chocolates and wonderful, rich, creamy hot chocolates. A very small selection of savoury and non- chocolate items, but - hey - that's not what you go there for!

This is a great stop to rest and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa on a day of walking in Wellington. We're not talking any old hot cocoa. Butlers is creamy and has a rich chocolate flavor. The cups are big and nearly overflowing. We stopped here while walking throughout Wellington and it was a tardy infusion of energy. The... More

We arrived in the last few minutes before closing, and they had strictly speaking shut up shop. However they cranked the coffee maker up and made us a much welcome hot chocolate and coffee. We were very grateful and returned the next day again to try the gourmet chocolates. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we bought... More

if you need a chocolate fix, this is your place. my goodness. all the cliches can apply: choc lovers heaven, chocoholics nightmare, death by chocolate, and so on. my young daughter and i were there for a treat and it was thursday before easter. butlers was doing a roaring trade in choc bunnies, eggs, etc. the friendly staff took our... What a let down this place is. I was really looking forward to trying some yummy cake and hot chocolate. The food looked like it had been there for about 5 days, and the selection was almost non existent. We had the hot chocolate, which was just okay. I wouldn't go again.

This is yet another wonderful coffee place in Wellington...and perhaps the only one where you get a superb quality Irish chocolate free of charge with your hot drink. Mmmmmmm...our favourite flavour is salted caramel. The surroundings are comfortable, and there is a quieter balcony area upstairs. It is a great place to hang out with a loved one or friends.
