Established in 1993 the Hole in One idea came from a conversation which was written onto the back of a beer coaster. Many years on the basic tenet has not changed. You come to the Hole in One to have fun and challenge yourself or your mates. If you get a Hole in One it's an awesome bonus. So far we have had over 800 balls land in the 3 holes. The red flag is a normal golf hole. Ever seen on TV a Hole in One? The blue flag is a 30cm sand bunker and the white flag is a 50cm (1/2 metre) sand bunker. We are one of the cheapest activities to do in Taupo and will refund anyone who doesn't have fun.

What is up with the tall grey guy? Plain rude and unappreciative of the face that his customers are the people supporting him. Learn some people skills and some manners, you also shouldn't yell at 2 year olds, this really bought out your lack of...More

Great idea but poorly executed. The hole in one challenge is a great idea but how the owner is running this place is mind blowing. He was rude and the only words he knew were (I don't know, just read the sign). Maybe he should...More

25 balls for $20. 4 of us shared the bucket with 2 of us hitting the float which sits 111 yards from shore. If you get a "red" hole in one there is a $10,000 price. We got one extra ball for hitting the float....More

Good fun that gets the adrenaline pumping, if you can hit a golf ball then have a go as you never know, they don't pay out many top prizes but the other ones for landing in the sand based areas are worth a go, once...More

Located in a central spot in Taupo the Hole in One challenge was a hit. We spent about 30 minutes there and there were plenty of people stopping to have a look. Definitely recommend if you're a golf lover or keen to win $10,000!
