Definitely worth a visit to see the incredible amount of water tumbling down the gorge. The noise and the power of the water was breath taking.

This is a magnificent relatively easy tramping next to the river all the way down to the falls. It is the best option for a quite day.

Wow ,,,so great to see wonderful Free NZ walks & sights ...they only charge for the use of the toilet ..which I suppose is fair enough with all the use it gets! So be sure to take 50 cent coins :)

Very commercialise making it very easy to park and a short 2 min walk to the falls. Access is extremely easy for anyone disabled. 5-10min drive from Lake Taupo and is Free entry and free parking.

Just an awesome place to visit, easy to find, heaps of car parks, a little cafe here would be great and probably get really busy in the warmer months

The intercity bus stop is in the centre of Taupo town hooka falls is worth seeing and its free to visit

There’s no entry fee. The only charge would be to use the toilet facilities. .50c Enjoy!
