Had a great famiky day riding chief, bailey, horse, and roma. Guide Sam was great. Instructions were spotted on. Youngest rider 11 and oldest 74. Will worth $70 per person, family run business, many rescue horses.

We had a wonderful time on this horse trek with our lovely guides. We went with our 5 and 7 year old and they had very nice horses to suit everyone. The kids as well as my husband and I had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to experience this again. Thanks Bailey for being such a lovely... More

A small family operation that does its very best to cater to all abilities and ensure a safe and enjoyable ride on good quality ponies and horses. The operators did everything they possibly could to ensure that our family group had the best possible experience and went to great lengths to ensure that those in our group who wanted a... More

Despite booking and calling the day before to confirm our booking, we arrived to find the premises locked, no horses and no staff. It all looked very run down and shabby. All very much at odds with the professional way so many attractions are run in Taupo. Avoid.

Would not recommend this place to anyone who values there life. Ok that's an overstatement but seriously not real safe or fun. Customer service was appalling, so bad I had to actually laugh..this is a joke right? It seemed like a hassle that they had to take us out on the horses. Weren't given any instruction on how to ride... More

Supposed to be a fun outing but left feeling shaken, worried and bruised. The horses were not as well trained as advertised (western style riding), with two riders getting bucked off (one rider has been riding for 30 years). Cantering in a group felt unsafe, and this was not listened to when suggested after first close call. Inadequate follow up... More

Our experience can be summarised as 1. arrogant staff 2. unsafe trek management and 3. Inadequate follow up. These horses are not safe to canter in a group. Two bucked, one kicks, another wants to take off.. These are horses that experienced riders would fall off. If you do fall off, do not expect anyone to come up and ask... More

Thank you for such an amazing experience. We were a little nervous because we are inexperienced. Our 4 and 7 year old absolutely loved it! Our advice is to listen carefully and be calm then it will be a peaceful, happy experience. Thank you for such a wonderful time and great memories for us.
