Great garden in all seasons. Kiosk is a really neat spot on a sunny day, sit outside and enjoy the mountain views. Would like to see more veggie savoury for lunch though.

Went last year but this year lights weren't that great. But it has amazing playground. My boy loves going there.

Its not a very big park so its just nice with young children. The zoo within the park is fantastic. Highly Recommended.

Well worth a little walkthrough if you have a chance and like nice gardens and parks. Close to the centre of town also.

I went for a power walk through the Park one morning and thought it was gorgeous. Mature native trees everywhere, views of Mt Taranaki, quaint bridges, a zoo (which I didn't get into), lots of tracks and a playground my kids would love.

Pukekura Park is a great space for relaxation, a walk with the dog or just to chat with friends. If you come to New Plymouth, I recommend you go to this park at least once.

We came at the end of the afternoon. Some nice trees to see and beautiful bird singing. Also spotted an owl, which we don't see too often where we're from. Had a good and relaxing time.

We visited this park in June and it was well worth the visit. It was approaching dusk and I had wished we had a bit more time to look around because there were so many different parts to the park to capture your interest. We...More
