This place is like a 'nightclub for dogs'. They meet their old friends and make new ones, and run around on the sand and in the sea, with joy apparent in every step. This is my favorite place to exercise my dogs. Apart from that,...More

Really enjoyed this beach on a beautiful day in mid April and the climb down the sand was well worth it getting back up not quite as much fun. There was a stair option as well for those who wanted to take the easy option.

On the edge of an ancient volcano, sea meets land. Sometimes sparkling calm waters but more often crashing waves meet the land. Giant cliffs, black sand and pebles, a giant sand slide to run and roll down and a well constructed stairway to climb once...More

Out of the world, no golden sands but feels very peaceful and energising spot. Very beautiful scenic spot.

This is such a non tourist beach. Lots of people surfing and playing in the sand dunes. Lovely place to walk.

This is a great beach to walk on during low tide. Spectacular rock formations and great view of the Sugarloaf islands. You will also find sand dunes near the parking lot.

Interesting beach - lots of stones, but nice place for a stroll (great for dogs). Probably not the best place for a picnic - a bit wild! but worth a look.
