We literally only really had one day in Rotorua and the Lake is a must see. We actually saw some Japanese tourists boiling eggs in one of the steam vents. Fascinating and well worth a look. SueM

The lake front is a very popular area to park, picnic or just wander along the esplanade. If you want an aerial view then take a trip up on the skyline gondola for a magnificent view of this lake

Good place to relax. One can feed breads to the birds. Also has a cruise. One can really relax by spending some time sitting on the bench at the lake.
