We really enjoyed the nature park, seeing the lions getting fed was amazing and followed up by seeing the kias being fed was a lot of fun. The rest of the park was also great with boardwalks meandering through the forest, streams of trout to feed, ducks following you around, goats and wallabies to feed. This is a great spot... More

We arrived by 2.30pm just in time to watch the lion feeding very informative and was great to be right there next to these majestical animals. The Kea presentation was next and what amazing birds they are so clever my two girls 9 & 5 loved it. Buy some animal food the kids loved feeding the trout and other animals.... More

Fun day out. You get to see the lions being fed.. feed different animals.. nit sure about the small space the lions have to wonder around.

We took our 7 year old daughter and she loved it. It is quite small with lots of trout/ducks...but also lions! The lions are fed at 2.30 each day and this is the best time to see them as they are lively and patrolling!

This is the first time for me to see lions getting fed. There is a special stand for spectators to watch it. The best time to visit this park is at 2pm. Because the lion feeding starts at 2.30pm every day. There is a nice bush walk to see the rainbow & Brown Trouts, eels, pigs, Kea birds and many... More

Took 5 little ones under the age of 6 here on the weekend. Great facilities and animals etc that they were not too scared of. Just happened to be Kids free day but we went in with 6 adults anyway. Nine lions on site as well but typical that on a nice day they just wanted to lie around.

The kids and I loved this place! It was such a peaceful park with great opportunities to get up close with the animals. We couldn't believe how close we could get to the lions - very exciting! The kids loved feeding the very friendly goats and wallabies. We would definitely return next time we're in Rotorua! Only thing I would... More

We arrived early and had the place to ourself for a while which was magical. The place is very kid friendly ... staff were lovely and clearly loved working there. My 7 year old really didn't want to leave. He loved feeding the animals and the trout and exploring the walkways. The whole place is immaculately kept and the animals... More

It was a great sunny day for an hour and a half walk around the park. The flora was amazing and provided shade from the sun and the fauna was cute and welcoming. Most animals approached you were very friendly. The downfalls would have to be the lion enclosure, is it big enough? I'm not an expert so can not... More
