A very relaxing walk along the sea front with excellent views across Hawke’s Bay and into Napier. Plenty of things for children to do, excellent for a gentle bike ride. Very clean and well maintained.

This is a great place to visit for a walk or ride with lots of greenery and a beach for swimming with care. There is a number of places to stop and eat or have a drink.

This has been improved a lot of late and has some lovely relaxing areas with shade and sculptures. Loved the wee walkway dock structure that went into the sea. Could have done with more planting but maybe this is limited due to the salt air?

Yes you can. It’s about 10 minutes to walk to town centre or you can walk the other direction and walk to Ahuriri beach front, for cafes, and bars.
