Incredibly knowledgeable staff who are beyond passionate about what they do. Exhibits range from New Zealand and Maori culture to internationally significant attractions. The displays are not your typical facts-on-the-wall type, instead using innovative resources to create an immersive and inventive experience. I visit the museum every two years or so - after today, I will change this to once... More

Was a great showcase of the exhibits within the museum, with a tour guide with a vast array of knowledge. Showed a great understanding of knowledge and was able to answer all questions my group had. Overall it was a good experience and a well run facility.

Our Tour Guide Jennifer Hamilton was superb and extremely knowledgeable, of not only the many exhibitions but also the artwork display around the Hamilton Region. We had an amazing time and felt as if we have a deeper understanding of our home Aotearoa. I would defiantly recommend this museum to all age groups and of ethnicity. Thank you.

Had an amazing tour around the museum from a well knowledged guide and was helpful and answered every question that she got. Over-all the museum is great and is cool how it changes what they have out on display every so often.
