Large oasis of greenery not too far from the middle of the city. We took a stroll around the domain en route to the nearby Auckland War Memorial museum. Pleasant place for a stroll but take an umbrella 😉

Even walking from the museum to the Skytower in the rain, this park is very special and LOVELY!! We enjoyed the different trees with ferns/plants growing on them that are similar to our Oregon trees but also very different:)

We walked through this park to enjoy its green spaces and mature woodland. The views of the city and harbour side from the top are wide ranging and the botanic gardens and Auckland Museum are both located here.

Picnics or a family/friends game of football - lots of open space. Good public transport to get in and out.
