We did the Auckland food tour and it was amazing. Elle (the owner) was our tour guide and she was a wonderful host. She took us all around Auckland from a farmers market, to a specialty food shop with a private tasting to the fish market for a tour and lunch by the piers. She was very helpful in recommending... We had a small (just the two of us) tour with Colleen (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) as our tour guide where we went all over Auckland for the sights and the food! We went to the fish market for a platter, a chocolate place, a high end food market, a small cafe right near the water, and she... More

Elle is a fabluous ambassador for Auckland and NZ artisanal food. We took this tour our first day in New Zealand. Elle was able to adjust the schedule to accommodate a couple who was flying in the morning of the tour. We started at the farmers market, visited a specialty food store, and toured the Auckland Fish Market where we... More

I wasn't sure what to expect because I have never been to NZ but it was fun to go to local hot spots and be near the water. It was a fun and relaxing experience that I recommend everyone try!

My wife and I did the afternoon Auckland tour. It was only four of us, plus our guide Arden. She did a great job, taking us to six fun/varied places to taste food or taste beer. It allowed us to see parts of Auckland that we wouldn't have gotten to, and the walking was a nice break between meals. Really... More

Although we booked the Tastebud tour, events intervened and we ended up having a personal tour of food and the city by the amazing Elle. We went to a gourmet food store to sample olive oil, condiments, and some of the best cheese I've ever tasted. We stopped in for handmade NZ chocolates (including one with pineapple guava and white... More

An excellent way to spend half a day for anyone who enjoys food. The tour enables a casual visitor to Auckland to experience the taste of things made by dedicated, small scale producers, like the cheese from the farm with only 4 cows and also things not normally associated with NZ. Who knew that NZ produces its own olive oil... More

What a yummy thing to do! We booked the tour for our first day in Auckland and it provided us with a great orientation to the city as we went from site to site. Elle, our guide and the owner, was wonderful and so full of knowledge. She also gave us great restaurant recommendations.

Loving my food, as soon as our cruise to New Zealand was booked, I knew I wanted to do a foodie tour somewhere along the way, as it's recognised that NZ has fabulous produce. After researching online and then seeing Elle in a segment on Sydney Weekender, I chose the Tastebud Tour in Auckland and it did not disappoint. It's... More
