Beautiful cathedral to visit and to pray in Auckland CBA. This Cathedral has recently been restored. Then stroll up Hobson St going west to Presbyterian stone church of St Mathew's in the City for another spiritual experience.

A very special ocassion our grandchildren had studied for. It; is not our usual church, but the church chosen by our daughter-in-law and our son for this solemn event.

Easy to locate just downhill from Hobson Street. Friendly people and lovely singer. A good sized congregation but probably lot of visitors.

lthough not built of stone like those great overseas churches this was still great. It was not as ostentatious as those overseas ,nevertheless it had a simplistic charm and there was some good architecture

This beautiful cathedral church is hidden away and it was lovely to find a place in the middle of the busy city to have a time of quiet.

We were a bit disappointed by the size of it being used to European cathedrals. Situated in the heart of town you can hardly see it lost amongst the tall modern buildings. St Patrick cathedral is small but beautifully simple. The woodwork is so elegant and warm. We also loved the painting of Marie the mother of God.

Stumbled upon this as I walked to the Sky Tower. Hidden gem. I stepped in to light a candle and say a prayer. I ended up staying for a glorious mass. It was a celebration of love in observance of St. Valentine's Day. Beautiful cathedral of St Patrick and St Joseph.

The only place to visit when in need of a quite moment. Sea shore definitely will refresh, but this is unique as it makes you happy again.

This place grounds me. If you visit on a Saturday evening or all day Sunday, you'll hear lovely music and singing. Other times you can wander and appreciate the artworks and quiet spaces. Outside has a water feature that gently flows from the cathedral down through a pocket park with trees for shade and benches for resting.
