If you're a sailing enthusiast, and have watched America's Cup races on TV, you must do this event. We had a steady 14 knot wind, flat sea and warm temps. Most everyone helped crew the boat, and take a turn at the helm. What a rush. Not an inexpensive tour, but hey, this was once in a life time for... More

We were fortunate to sail on a day with great wind and reached 13 knots! The crew is friendly and pleasant. The 68 foot boat is spectacular. The tour was booked full so it was a bit crowded on board. During the 2-hour trip, you enjoy gorgeous views and will also get to participate hands-on as a "grinder" to raise... More

This was just so fantastic! I did this as an activity for our work conference (how lucky were we!). I am not a natural on the water, however this is just too much fun, so much happening, and very informative information provided by the actual crew. Is fun to partake of the grinding, and take the helm! We had a... More

Absolutely awesome experience. Very professional helm and crew. I felt very included. You can be involved in the sailing as much or as little as you like. Top experience! Go if you've never sailed before and want an exhilarating experience. Go if you HAVE sailed before and want an amazing, top quality boat to play about on in an amazing... More

A great experience to undertake. Modified actual Americas cup and training vessels are used and are no frills if thats what you expect. Seating is on the sides of the boats and a life jacket (provided) is a must. We were unlucky in as much as it was quite a calm day but we still managed to feel the power... More

This experience was informative, participatory, and a pleasure of motion and scenery. The crew was safety conscious and skilled at sailing. We enjoyed our time on the sailboat.

It was a gorgeous day to sail and a great boat & crew made for a perfect combination! Very shortly after leaving the dock we were under sail and speeding along. You can work the grinders too, in fact, the hep is needed. Great experience. One more checked off!

Perhaps I got lucky, but this was a wonderful sailing experience. There were strong winds, the boat was moving along at 12 knots, heeled over, etc. WOO-HOO!!

Booked this a few months in advance as one of the most anticipated highlights of our cruise to NZ from Sydney. However the day our cruise ship visited Auckland, the lack of any real wind ruined what could have been a great day sailing on a former Americas Cup class boat. Oh well, wind was obviously out of control of... More
