Located on St. Georges Terrace near the corner with Barrack St., this is an "attractive" long-shaped cathedral (attractive largely due to its "red-brick" exterior I would say) with also a tower on one end of its length where looking up you'll see the flag bearing...More

St Georges Cathedral is located in the heart of the city and is a church of traditional Anglican worship. There are numerous icons, within the Cathedral as well as beautiful stained glass windows. We admired the memorials to Western Australian pioneers, community leaders and those...More

On Sunday afternoon we were walking around the city when we heard the bells ringing from St Georges. This glorious church is in a beautiful location and has a beautiful feel to it. The WWII tributes throughout are so touching and the stained glass is...More

A beautiful building with some great stained glass. The chapel dedicated to the armed forces is partially poignant and beautiful. The organ is a work of art in it's own right and I was fortunate to be able to hear it being played.

A small but stunning cathedral. Lovely architecture and well lit through the stained glass windows which shed coloured light on the pillars. A small souvenir shop is enclosed within the cathedral.

This is a lovely cathedral. It has numerous stained-glass windows that are very attractive. The sun shone inside the cathedral, through one of the stained-glass window. It was beautiful. There were several people in the church, enjoying the church as well. They even had a...More

Daily worship at very convenient times in the traditional manner and some more modern services form time to time are an important part of the work of a Cathedral but St George's does great deal more; school programs, outreach to various communities and people, an...More

Attended for the Archbishop inaugural sermon. The choir was amazing and the acoustics made it all the more so. The Cathedral is an amazing old building with stunning glass windows

No, there isn't public parking space at the Cathedral, and works at the nearby Old Treasury Building mean that the area is currently more congested than usual. There is ticketed street parking nearby, though, and a large... More
