It was a wonderful way to finish off Christmas activities with a visit to Kings Park after dinner at "C" to view the lights of Perth. On my next trip from NSW I definitely will visit the Botanic Gardens during the day!
Huge park! We walked from one side to the other and it was about 3kms! I believe the best month is September to see it when all the flowers are in bloom.
There is a beautiful view of the city at night as well
Beautiful park - went for 3 hours and stayed a day! Take a hat and wear sunscreen because the sun was intense. The free guided tours were excellent and a great way to look at the park as they take you to the main things.
Very accessible by car or bus. Extensive playgrounds (1 with water feature) for children of all ages to explore. Pristine lawns and native flora gardens set in natural bushlands. Rubbish free. Perfect for a serene BBQ or picnic with stunning city and Swan River views....More
