Visited late in the afternoon. This place is a place of contemplation for those who gave their lives so we could be free. We will never forget them or their sacrifice. The views of the city from the memorial are truly wonderful. We stayed for...More

With the CBD as a backdrop this beautiful part of Kings Park always touches the heart strings. There is seating close by and don't forget to check out all the names on the back of the cenotaph as well.

A great place to learn about the wars Australia had to endure and the soldiers (and families) who sacrificially gave their lives for the freedom of Australia. A flame that burns perpetually and never dies.

Kings Park War Memorial is a place to sit and contemplate on the sacrifice of many so we could live. Sit at the Court of Contemplation and remember where our Aussies fought. Afterwards enjoy the magnificent view of Perth city, standing next to the Cenotaph....More

I went on a "tick box" tour of Australia; Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, the Barier Reef, Sydey Bridge and Opera House. The little time I had in Perth was an eye opener. Kings Park may be five stars if you have enough time.

I went there on Saturday evening and was amazed to see the memorial. The views of the city are just beautiful from there and the place is very serene. Its lovely to watch the flames in water as well.
