This is a family tradition of going to the Anzac Day Dawn Sevice since I was a child and now my husband and I do it with our children too. It's a must for anyone in or visiting Perth, especially on Anzac Day (25th April).

A nice place to relax with a coffee or a lie down on the grass. The view of the city and swan lake is exquisite. Take the stairs if your young or drive up to it by car.

We visited King's Park during a trip to Perth city while staying with relatives in the suburbs. The park offers the most amazing views of the city and the SwanRiver from various vantage points meaning you can easily take time to enjoy the views and grab some pics. The park is huge and offers everything from walks, the war memorial,... More

This makes me proud to be an Australian. It really is a beautiful Memorial in King's Park in an idyllic & honorable position. I especially loved the majestic Eucalypt tree overlooking the Memorial. Truly Australian.

We had a great few hours in the sunshine a few days before ANZAC day and I feel it must be a wonderful place on the day. I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the gardens and especially the views. Well worth the visit.

Elegant and sombre....a magnificent war memorial sitting in the wonderful location of Kings Park, this memorial offers the perfect place to reflect upon the sacrifices made by our brave men and women in the arena of war. nestled in the centre of a lake of contemplation, the eternal flame sits before the background of the bustling city and the Swan... Surprisingly this is a view over the Swan River that you can marvel at, the fact that it is the war memorial is fitting. - you are able to do this because of the fallen. Moving, memorable On,y a pity I can't be here for ANZAC Day
