More
Monkey Mia is one of Western Australia's icon tourism experiences attracting around 100,000 visitors a year. Monkey Mia is one of the few locations in Australia to see wild dolphins, get close to them and have an opportunity to feed one. In addition, visitors can learn a lot about these endearing creatures at the Monkey Mia Visitor Centre, which provides information about the dolphins and other features of the surrounding Shark Bay Marine Park in the interpretation display or movie playing in the air-conditioned theatrette. Visitors are also able to buy unique gifts and souvenirs or book a boat charter in the Shark Bay Marine Park, enabling them to see not only dolphins but also dugongs, manta rays, turtles and other marine species. Similarly, local indigenous guides offer cultural tours of the reserve. Visitors can also walk the Wulyibidi Yaninyina walk trail to further explore the area.

Very confusing place to get around. NO toilets at the entry, gift shops or dolphin feeding area, you have to take a hike to the resort end and search for toilets there. The staff were helpful enough though. Don't expect to go there and actually...More

Easy ~400Km from Geraldton. Beachside apartments were not new but comfortable and clean. Food and drink prices in both casual bar and restaurant were very reasonable. Enjoyed great meal for 5 adults including drinks(beer & wine) $284.

A glorious day, excellent catamaran and captained by a man who knows the waters well. Three hour cruise starts with a visit to the pearl farm, learned so much about pearl farming and opal coating, oyster meat not bad either. Then out into the waters,...More

The dolphins at Monkey Mia sure are the super stars of this little place. It is enchanting to watch them zoom along the waters edge catching fish for themselves. Make sure you go to at least one of the feedings run by rangers & amazing...More
